It is the goal of the Iniabi Free School to provide an education that is based upon the United Nations Earth Charter, democracy, self-motivation, entrepreneurship and innovation. Our programs include K-12 home-school structured program, supported by credentialed teachers, in a fully-accredited program offering a Diploma upon completion through our partner school - Global Village School.
"Global
Village School offers a progressive, accredited, customizable K-12
homeschooling program featuring online and text-based
curriculum complete with individualized teacher services. Our high
school homeschool diploma courses integrate peace, justice,
and diversity studies with the core subjects.
What sets us apart from other online schools? Our creative flexible
approach, and our emphasis on peace, justice, diversity and sustainability.
We recognize students as individuals with unique needs, interests,
and learning
styles. We work to adapt our homeschool curriculum to our students,
rather than forcing students to adapt to the curriculum. We empower
our students to pursue their future goals in a way that enables them
to prepare for college while building on their strengths and talents
and staying true to who they are. We work to nurture and protect the
passion and enthusiasm for creating a better world inherent in so
many young people. We seek to help our students lead authentic and
meaningful lives, and strive to have them leave school feeling confident
in their abilities to make an impact on the world around them."
Iniabi Free School not only offers Global Village School as a support, but our own LOCAL instructors and classes as well! Have the luxury of an online program, homeschool program, and one on one mentoring and classroom experience all in one!
Upon reaching the age of 15 - students can also participate in another of our partner organizations, Sustainable Global Leadership Alliance in their summer program (which includes a trip to India).
"SGLA develops young leaders with the vision to address critical environmental, economic and social challenges of our world.
We
train leaders aged 15-22 to be conscious in their living, global in
their experience and able to generate sustainable change.
SGLA’s
international experiential curriculum leads participants from personal
insights to community awareness to global perspective unleashing the
latent idealism of youth in the service of our collective future."
Students who are a minimum of 16 years of age (through adulthood - any age) can participate in our Apprentice Learning Program - which teaches entrepreneurship, leadership, innovation, and includes a one on one mentoring program to assist each student in the literal creation and launch of their new company.
